Saint Kallinikos of Edessa (1919–1984) was a modern Greek Orthodox bishop known for his deep humility, pastoral love, and quiet holiness. Born in Sitaralona, Aetolia, Greece, he studied theology and law and was ordained a priest in 1957. In 1967, he became Metropolitan of Edessa, Pella, and Almopia, serving the Church with tireless dedication for 17 years.

He was deeply loved by his flock for his gentle nature, generosity, and humility. He lived simply, gave much of his income to the poor, and was especially known for visiting the sick, comforting the suffering, and showing fatherly care to all. Though a bishop, he kept the ascetic heart of a monk and avoided honours and attention. His feast day is celebrated on August 8, and he is remembered as a shining example of modern episcopal holiness.
